WeightWatchers Australia banned the word "fat" from its online message board.

When they were caught out, their spin doctors claimed it was a "technical glitch" which caused the word to be rejected.

Lie number 1.

Then they told Sydney's Daily Telegraph yesterday that the matter "has now been resolved".

Lie number 2.

The moral of the story - Don't trust WeightWatchers Australia!

For people in the IPSWICH CITY and parts of the BRISBANE CITY, LOCKYER VALLEY, SOUTHERN DOWNS, SCENIC RIM and SOMERSET Council Areas.

The Bureau of Meteorology warns that, at 3:00 pm, severe thunderstorms were detected on weather radar near Oakington and Rosevale. These thunderstorms are moving towards the north. They are forecast to affect Maryvale, Cunninghams Gap and Rosevale by 3:30 pm and Grandchester, Rosewood and Hatton Vale by 4:00 pm.

Damaging winds and large hailstones are likely.

Emergency Management Queensland advises that people should:
* Move your car under cover or away from trees.
* Secure loose outdoor items.
* Seek shelter, preferably indoors and never under trees.
* Avoid using the telephone during a thunderstorm.
* Beware of fallen trees and powerlines.
* For emergency assistance contact the SES on 132 500.

Why are women treated as second class citizens?

This photo was taken today at the Brisbane International Tennis tournament at Tennyson.

A queue of 40 women lined up for the female toilets while there was no queue at all for the men.

Bet it was male town planners who approved the ratio of toilets at this key Queensland venue.

The current situation can only be described as bloody hopeless.
