Cops link death in fire to bank records

Suspicious bank transactions could help a police investigation into the caravan fire death of an elderly man in southern Queensland.
Robert Pitman, 77, died on April 7 when fire engulfed his caravan, on a property on Rows Road, Duingal, near Gin Gin.
Queensland police are investigating his death and appeal for public help.
They're investigating a series of suspicious transactions using Mr Pitman's bank account in the days leading up to his death.
Bundaberg police have released a photo of a man they want to speak to who was seen at the Suncorp Bank sub-branch at Gin Gin on the afternoon of April 6.
Anyone with information should phone Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
