QLD Fire Weather Warning

for the Southeast Coast, Darling Downs & Granite Belt, Channel Country and parts
of the Wide Bay & Burnett, Maranoa & Warrego and Northwest districts.
Issued at 3:56pm EST on Saturday the 6th of October 2012
for Sunday.

Dry, hot and fresh and gusty mostly NW to SW winds are expected to cause the
following conditions on Sunday.

Severe Fire Danger south and west of a line from Mt Isa to Windorah to
Charleville to Gympie.
Temperatures up to 39 degrees, relative humidity down to about 10% and wind to
45 km/hr are expected. Locations which may be affected include Brisbane,
Ipswich, Toowoomba, St George, Thargomindah, Birdsville and Boulia.

Fire dangers are no longer expected to reach Severe category in the Channel
Country district today.
