Michael Johnson will be remembered as the local federal member who supported the discredited Goodna bypass which would have passed through the suburb of Moggill, destroying million dollar properties near the Moggill Ferry.
He was politically dumb to back his Liberal mate Cameron Thompson who lost his seat in 2007 for backing the crazy bypass plan.
Now, they will both be out of politics - just 3 years apart!
That's good news for the people of Moggill - and Goodna!
